PiBS Outreach

PiBS supports attendance and send representatives each year to:

• SACNAS (Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science)
• ABRCMS (Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minoritized Scientists)

PiBS Trainers and Trainees serve as mentors for BUUMP (Biology Undergraduate and Master's Mentorship Program), a UCSD program created by PiBS Trainer Sonya Neal, to promote the success of UCSD undergraduate and Master’s students.
